It's not a secret to everyone how I became my family's breadwinner at such a young age. It wasn't easy and it took a toll on my mental health. After many years of manipulation, toxicity, and struggles; I finally had the courage to break the chains that bounded me.
Mrs. Money Mindset of Your Money Mindset Facebook page invited me to share my journey... childhood trauma experiences, sacrifices of being the breadwinner, and how I ended up cutting ties with my own mother.
When she told me about this, I confidently said yes right away. It surprised me, because whenever I get invited to talk, I always hesitate. My anxiety always gets ahead of me. But this time, it felt right to say yes. It feels right to share and to give light to those who are going through the same experiences that I had.
I know I have been sharing snippets of my life and my life before on Facebook, but it was just a little sneak peek of everything.
Like I mentioned above, I will be sharing about my life as a breadwinner, how I decided to fix myself, how I handle my finances, and where I am in my life right now.
I am slowly gaining confidence in myself and the things I can do. Slowly stepping out of my comfort zone, giving light to those who needed it. This is growth for me.
If you are a breadwinner and going through some tough time, or you would just like to get know more about me; I hope you can join our Facebook Audio Live this coming November 28th, Sunday at 7:00 PM, PST.
I hope you get to pick something up and learn from me. I am so excited and looking forward to interact with you all!
